You might call us cynical at times, because it takes a lot for us to stand up and pay attention to a press release- but here’s one that caught our eye. It said that Country Music Superstars Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt (recently signed to Columbia Records,) and Tracy Lawrence were going to be appearing together at lunch the next day at The Flying Saucer Restaurant in Nashville (beer & barbecue available) to make a special announcement. Well, what could that be, we wondered? Although we knew the three men were friends from way back, what else could they have in common?

The next day, as Nashville’s finest press corps chomped barbecue and beans (no beer at lunch for us, alas), the Rockin’ Roadhouse Tour was announced by the three men, who between them have sold 22 MILLION albums and have had 41 #1 Hits! ‘Nuff Said?
