Hello! My name is Kramer, and I’m SOOOO lucky that my mom is an animal activist on top of everything else she does. She’s gotten Emmy nominations for TV shows and movies she’s been in the last few years, and I still love her even though she was the voice for that girl cat (Ugh!) on “Animaniacs.”
She’s been in movies with some folks you might have heard of – that funny King Tut guy (although he wasn’t such a nice guy in mom’s movie) and the Cadillac-driving former mayor of Carmel, California have both co-starred with my mom.
It’s been 36 years since she first got on stage – and that’s not dog years! She even won her second Tony when she “got her gun” on Broadway in 1999. I don’t mean to boast too much, but she’s the youngest person to ever get in the Theatre Hall of Fame.
Mom does a lot of things for a lot of people, not just animals. She got the Special Advocate Award from New York City for her contributions to the gay and lesbian movement, and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences gave her the New York Heroes Award in 2000.
Who Am I?
