Well hello, L.A. Rides fans, WE'RE BACK! The sun is shining and there's nary a cloud in the Hollywood sky.

I've just come off the production of one of my screenplays, "The Baby Shower", and a bit of behind-the-scenes work on Van Helsing and Shrek 2. We're already off to a great summer and it's just beginning!

Yes, the Mini, the you-heard-it-here-first car that put LA. Rides on the map a few years ago, is back. This time, the geniuses at Mini and parent company BMW have shorn the wee three door hatchbacks' dome to create a drop-top gorgeous runabout. Details and prices are still unsettled, but bet your bottom dollar that an "S" supercharged version will be available alongside the normally aspirated version. A four seater convertible that drives like a true Mini -- Finally!
