It was a battle of the funnymen at the box office this weekend – in one corner it was Jack Black and in the other, Adam Sandler. The two comedians were pitted against each other to see which of their comedy’s premieres would come out on top – “Kung Fu Panda” or “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” – a panda doing kung fu vs. an eccentric hairdresser moonlighting as a counterterrorism expert. Kung Fu Panda and its star, Jack Black, reigned supreme not only in the box office, but on eBay too, chopping the competition nearly in half:
